Give your breakfast a twist by adding fresh ricotta cheese and dried nuts.. This quick recipe will not disappoint…
To make this recipe you will need:
1 small banana
1/2 mango, chopped
5-7 strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup of melon or cantaloupe (or both!)
1/4 cup fresh ricotta
1 tablespoon of sliced almonds
1 tablespoon of chopped pistachios
1 teaspoon of honey
These are the fruits I used but you can also add pineapple, kiwis and berries.. All of these are amazing choices.. I absolutely love this breakfast alternative because it takes 5 minutes to make and it really tastes delicious.. Sometimes I also make a little “sauce” of fresh fruits by blending a few berries. You can also add greek yogurt for added protein.
Simply top your fruits first with the ricotta and then the nuts. Drizzle the honey on top and voila! An instant upgrade to your morning fruit salad..
I made freshly squeezed grapefruit juice to accompany the bowl salad… YUM
